Focus and Scope
Founded in 2004, Pathologia is an independent scientific and practical journal dedicated to advancing fundamental and clinical research in medicine and fostering the exchange of scientific and practical expertise. The journal publishes scholarly articles, including original research, reviews, and clinical case reports, covering pressing issues in clinical and theoretical medicine, as well as related disciplines.
According to the decision of the Certification Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated October 25, 2023, Pathologia has been accredited as a Category "A" scientific journal in Ukraine. It is authorized to publish the results of dissertation research required for obtaining the degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy.

Types of Articles
The journal Pathologia considers the following types of submissions:
- Original Research. This section features studies in morphology, clinical practice, and experimental medicine conducted using modern methodologies and techniques. Submissions must be based on sufficient data to ensure reliable conclusions and include statistical analysis of quantitative findings.
- Reviews. The journal publishes comprehensive reviews on contemporary and significant issues in fundamental and clinical medicine. These articles must be based on an in-depth analysis of literature from the past five years.
- Clinical Cases. This section presents case reports on rare diseases and their pathomorphology, as well as atypical courses of known diseases with detailed morphological descriptions. Such reports aim to provide medical practitioners with valuable insights into rare conditions, their clinical manifestations, diagnostic challenges, and treatment approaches.
The journal Pathologia does not accept:
- Articles previously published or under consideration by other journals.
- Studies that are outdated or based on obsolete methodologies.
- Papers on healthcare management, medical statistics, or education.
- Articles focused on mathematical modeling of pathological processes.
- Educational and methodological articles.
