Abstract

Aim. To characterize the ultrastructural organization of endothelial cells, hepatocytes in correction of experimental hepatic steatosis with Angiolin.

Methods and results. Experimental studies were carried out on 70 adult white male rats. The model of liver steatosis was created in 60 rats, some of the animals (30 rats) were treated with Angiolin administration (50 mg per kg of body weight). The animals of control and experimental groups were examined for ultrastructural changes in hepatocytes and endothelial cells of liver hemomicrocirculatory bed vessels. Studies of the ultrastructure of the liver of animals have found that the normalization of the structural components of the organ took place in the correction of steatosis with new biologically active compound Angiolin. Normalization of sinusoidal hemocapillars ultrastructure improves hemodynamics and transcapillary exchange. This fact prevents damage to the hepatocyte nuclei and organelles, facilitates intracellular regeneration.

Conclusion. Using new biologically active compound Angiolin prevents and reduces the damage of membrane organelles, nuclear and plasma membranes of endothelial cells and hepatocytes.
